Hear Allman Brothers Band Songs, Big-Band Jazz Style

Coming to the CMA Theater at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum: the Big Band of Brothers touring ensemble—a celebration of Allman Brothers Band songs, big band jazz style, featuring founding Allman Brothers drummer Jaimoe, Sammy Miller and the Congregation, Lamar Williams Jr., and Drew Smithers. Tickets for the January 21, 2022, show are on sale Friday, October 29, at 10:00 AM.

The tour is based on and inspired by the album Big Band of Brothers: A Jazz Celebration of the Allman Brothers Band. Released by New West Records in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Allman Brothers Band’s debut in 1969, the album features a 10-song set of jazz interpretations of the band’s songs. The Big Band of Brothers live show features Jaimoe (original member of the Allman Brothers Band) and Sammy Miller & the Congregation, with special guests Lamar Williams Jr. (son of Lamar Williams, bassist for the Allman Brothers Band) and Drew Smithers.
